The Exploited have cancelled all their shows for the rest of the year after vocalist Wattie Buchan collapsed onstage during a performance in Bogota over the weekend.

The band shared in a statement, "[On] December 10th, 2022 during the end of the set Wattie collapsed on stage in Bogota, COL and was rushed into hospital by ambulance. Due to doctor's orders all remaining shows for 2022 have been cancelled."

They added, "We apologize to the fans, promoters and everyone affected by this situation. Thank you for understanding. Also our London show on the 16th December will also be cancelled once again we are sorry about this but Wattie is exhausted and told to cancel all up coming gigs for this year."

Video from the event (seen below) shows Buchan starting to perform a song, when he touches his chest and slowly begins to lower himself to the floor, after which someone comes to his aid and motions for help to someone off stage.

The 65-year-old artist has a history of heart problems — having previously suffered a heart attack on stage in Lisbon, Portugal in 2014 — and has had to cancel performances in the past due to his health.
