11/20/2009 Last year, we reported that Supergrass members Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey had taken their band's Diamond Hoo Ha Men and spun it into a side-project. The band had announced that they were working on a top secret project under the moniker, and little else was mentioned from there. Sunset Rubdown/Wolf Parade’s Spencer Krug Readies Debut As Moonface
11/20/2009 Wolf Parade offshoot Sunset Rubdown began as a Spencer Krug's solo project, but it has since evolved into a full band with a fixed five-piece line-up. 11/20/2009 Good news Weakerthans fans: John K. Samson will be taking his solo material on the road for a brief Ontario tour next month. The singer previously told Exclaim! that, compared to full-band performances, during solo shows "all I really get is more nervous." Winnipeg’s KEN Mode Get in Spat with MySpace and Warner Music Group Over Mistaken Copyright Infringement
11/20/2009 It seems Winnipeg noise rockers KEN Mode are now fighting the same battle that British singer Edwyn Collins fought back in mid-October. As we previously told you, Collins went up against Warner Music Group and MySpace over a dispute around copyright ownership, finally getting rights to post his hit song “A Girl Like You” after a lengthy case of email tag and negative press. Stoner Metal Legends Sleep Confirm Reunion Tour for 2010
11/20/2009 Earlier this year, it was revealed that stoner/doom metal enthusiasts Sleep might be reuniting for a North American tour. Their classic album Holy Mountain was reissued in June, and the band got back together to perform at All Tomorrow's Parties in the UK. Grand Hustle Discovers Molotov Cocktails in Office Parking Lot, Points to “Idiot” Suspect
11/20/2009 In a stark contrast to the petty online sparring that makes up the Fiery Furnaces/Beck/Radiohead beef, the workers at Grand Hustle Records faced a life-threatening situation early Thursday morning (November 19) when two mysterious bottles were discovered in their parking lot. Beta Band’s Steve Mason Teams Up with Richard X for Solo Album

Update: Mayhem Blame Corrupt Promoter for Hotel Thrashing
11/19/2009 Earlier this week, members of the Norwegian black metal group Mayhem were arrested on charges that they had trashed a hotel room in Holland. According to reports, the can caused $7,800 Canadian in damages, and would not be released from jail until they coughed up the cash.
