Dno’t Say It Mihgt Maen Somehitng

Aside from deliberately misspelling their entire lyric book, there's nothing I dislike about Capade's Dno't Say It Mihgt Maen Somehitng. This record is everything a sophomore album should be; it's a much more developed effort stylistically and construction-wise than their debut, Wake Me Up. Tracks like "It's About Time" and "Save My Love" highlight the smooth grooves of their reggae rock'n'roll, taking the listener down an uplifting journey through love and life set to a soundtrack of rolling rhythms and indie flare that should appeal to fans of Bedouin Soundclash and Talking Heads. "Break the Habit" is the most developed, in terms of the indie sound. The guitars and drums are much more intense, but Nikola Tucakov's vocals remain focused and fluid. "A Season For Her" shows the band's ability to write soft ballads, losing the reggae while remaining consistent with their smooth indie sound. This is an extremely strong release that will earn them the love they deserve. (Independent)
