This year's Coachella featured, as it often does, a handful of surprise appearances (and perhaps two of the worst shows of both Blur's and Grimes's career — sorry y'all), and that included a pop-up performance from Mac DeMarco at Lil Yachty's Sunday night set.
DeMarco had previously appeared on Yachty's 2023 album Let's Start Here., nabbing songwriting credits on "Drive Me Crazy!" and "Failure." Yachty performed the former early in his set, and DeMarco stuck to his own oeuvre for his two-song appearance, performing 2017's "On the Level" and "Chamber of Reflection," which just turned 10.
DeMarco's latest release was last year's nine-hour One Wayne G.
