Don Caballero Give the World a Punkgasm With Second Relapse LP
6/20/2008 By Josiah Hughes

Punkgasm is both an apt description of the first time I heard NOFX’s The Decline in high school, and the terribly awesome title of Don Caballero’s second LP for Relapse Records.

Headed by founding drummer Damon Che, the math rock pioneers will release their seventh proper album on August 25 surrounded by a month of tour-dates with Ponytail and An Albatross.

Punkgasm includes some trademark ridiculous song titles like “The Irrespective Dick Area” and “Shit Kids Galore,” and Che recently gave the album his utmost praise saying, “I know this sounds like an obligatory and potentially phony statement but, I at least, firmly believe this will be the 'best Caballero yet.' All clichés be detonated.”

Punkgasm tracklisting:

1. Loudest Shop Vac In The World
2. The Irrespective Dick Area
3. Bulk Eye
4. Shit Kids Galore
5. Celestial Dusty Groove
6. Pour You Into The Rug
7. Challenge Jets
8. Lord Krepelka
9. Why Is The Couch Always Wet?
10. Slaughbaugh’s Ought Not Own Dog Data
11. Dirty Looks
12. Who’s A Puppy Cat
13. Awe Man That’s Jive Skip
14. Punkgasm
