Danko Jones to Open for Guns N’ Roses on Canadian Tour
10/29/2009 By Stephen Carlick

Danko Jones, led by Canada’s own brow-furrowing, lip-pouting, pelvis-thrusting guitar hero, are rocking across Canada, but this time with none other than Axl Rose and company. Yes, come 2010, Danko Jones will pair up with Gun N’ Roses for the band’s recently announced Canadian tour.

Also out lending some opening support will be Sebastian Bach of Skid Row.

In May, Danko Jones released a compilation of some of the trio’s best moments called This is Danko Jones, which you can expect the guys to pull heavily from for this set of shows.

In other Danko news, the band will play at the Toronto Maple Leafs game in Tampa Bay on November 25 and tour up the West coast of the U.S. prior to playing the Canadian dates with GN’R (you can see the U.S. dates here). Seriously, it’s getting pretty hard to doubt Danko Jones’s patriotism.

1/16 Calgary, AB - Pengrowth Saddledome

1/17 Edmonton, AB - Rexall Place

1/19 Saskatoon, SK - Credit Union Centre
