Listen to Three Exclusive Tracks from the Weakerthans' John K. Samson in Exclaim!’s Click Hear
10/29/2009 By Josiah Hughes

Back in September, we told you about a nifty new seven-inch series coming courtesy of Weakerthans front-man John K. Samson. As Samson explained, the series will consist of multiple seven-inches, each inspired by a different road in Winnipeg.

On November 3, Anti- will give North America a digital release of the first three-track instalment in the series, City Route 85, with pre-orders for the seven-inch vinyl beginning that same day at the Epitaph store. Sure, that's not too long to wait before you can hear Samson’s new solo cuts but since we understand the crippling impatience that comes with waiting for a new record to drop, we have the whole single up for your streaming pleasure.

If you head over to our Click Hear column right now, you can check out City Route 85’s “Heart of the Continent,” “Grace General” and “Cruise Night,” which are all exclusively streaming. All you have to do is click here.

"I pretty much had a meltdown," Owen Pallett admits, laughing ruefully. "This record took a lot out of me."
