Check Out Reviews of D-Sisive, A Grave with No Name, Get Back Guinozzi! and More in New Release Tuesday

The December/January issue of Exclaim! is out now, but we can’t jam every review of every sweet album into the physical issue. Luckily, we can stick all the latest ones up in our constantly updated Recently Reviewed section.
First up, we have the still-piping-hot new album from Toronto, ON MC D-Sisive, whose new digital-only album, Jonestown, is a pseudo-return to his battle-rap, punch-line style, as well as Austrian improv trio Radian, with their nuanced new album, Chimeric.
This week, our highly recommended picks come courtesy of A Grave with No Name, whose Mountain Debris sounds like a foggy, fuzzed-out British take on American folk, and Get Back Guinozzi!, whose eclectic mix of pop and post-punk make Carpet Madness a total winner. On the other hand, Them Crooked Vultures, the supergroup consisting of Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and John Paul Jones, have finally released their anticipated self-titled album, and the result is a mixed bag.
Also reviewed this week is Denmark’s Mikkel Meyer, who has injected dub-step with some aggression on Bacon, Kid Sister, whose electronic/hip-hop meld just doesn’t hold on Ultraviolet, and retro psych specialists Thee Oh Sees, whose latest LP proves they are as consistent as they are prolific.
