Hear Tokyo Police Club's Remix of the Coast's "Tightrope"
6/16/2008 By Cam Lindsay

Toronto's the Coast have spent the better part of 2008 touring their asses off in support of their debut full-length album, Expatriate. The hard work has paid off as the band are currently preparing for a North American tour that precedes the U.S. release of the album on August 19 through Aporia Records.

However, before they leave for the States on Wednesday (June 18), the band will set up on Bloor Street in their hometown, joining Billy Bragg for a free concert celebrating the opening of HMV's "Store of the Future" tomorrow afternoon (June 17), beginning at 2:00 p.m.

In addition, the Coast managed to grab the attention of the equally as busy Tokyo Police Club, who contributed a remix for their single "Tightrope," which will be released as a seven-inch by Toronto label Magnificent Sevens. Hear it below.
