Grohl plays drums on a new version of 2005's "Bad Boyfriend"

If there's one thing Dave Grohl loves to do, it's hop on a song and play the drums. He can't get enough of the stuff — St. Vincent's All Born Screaming being some recent evidence — and today he's back with another guest spot.

Earlier this year, Garbage released a Record Store Day-exclusive EP called Lie to Me, and today it's available on streaming services. It includes a remix of Garbage's 2005 track "Bad Boyfriend" that features Grohl on drums, plus a cover of Tim Buckley's "Song to the Siren."

The version available on streaming also has two entirely new songs — "Better Not Lie to Me" and "Revenge and Hurt." Garbage co-wrote the former with Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong.
